EUGENE, Ore. — Gasoline prices in Eugene have seen a notable decrease, dropping 24 cents per gallon over the past week to an average of $3.20 per gallon, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 78 stations in the area. This marks a 23.5-cent decrease from a month ago and a 9-cent drop compared to the same time last year. The cheapest station in Eugene was priced at $2.89 per gallon yesterday, while the most expensive was $3.79 per gallon, creating a 90-cent difference.
Statewide, the lowest price recorded was $2.89 per gallon, with the highest at $5.29 per gallon, a $2.40 difference. Nationally, the average price of gasoline has fallen 4.5 cents per gallon in the last week, now averaging $2.85 per gallon.
