A 49-year-old man died early Friday morning after being struck by a vehicle in Oakridge, according to the Oakridge Police Department, in a Monday evening press release.
The release says Lane County Dispatch received a report at approximately 11:42 p.m. on Dec. 18 of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on the private property of the Church of the Nazarene, located at 48187 Highway 58. Oakridge police arrived on scene shortly before midnight and began investigating.
Oakridge Fire Department personnel provided medical aid, but the man was pronounced dead at approximately 12:06 a.m. from injuries sustained in the incident…
