River Road speed limit won’t fix the problem
Lowering the speed limit on River Road won’t accomplish a thing.
The problem is not the people obeying the 40 mph speed limit. The problem is the people doing 50-55 mph. Will this slow them down? Probably not.
What is needed is a cop with a radar gun. That will solve the problem. Speed enforcement in Eugene is non-existent. As usual, government comes up with the wrong solution to a problem…
