Gasoline prices in Eugene drop nearly 13 cents per gallon in a week

EUGENE, Ore. — Average gasoline prices in Eugene have fallen 12.9 cents per gallon over the past week, now averaging $3.10 per gallon, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 78 stations in the area. This marks a significant decrease of 43.7 cents per gallon compared to a month ago and 18.5 cents lower than the same time last year.

The national average price of diesel has also seen a decline, dropping 5.4 cents from last week to $3.521 per gallon. Meanwhile, the national average gasoline price has decreased by 4.0 cents per gallon, now standing at $2.75 per gallon. This is 22.6 cents lower than a month ago and 22.4 cents less than a year ago, based on GasBuddy data from over 150,000 gas stations nationwide.

In Eugene, the cheapest station was priced at $2.75 per gallon Sunday, while the most expensive was $3.49, a difference of 74 cents. Across the state, prices ranged from $2.74 to $4.49 per gallon, a $1.75 difference…
