EUGENE, Ore. – Our Pet of the Week, Shadoozy, is a two-year-old mixed breed pup who is not only playful but also a very loving and sweet boy!
Greenhill Humane Society staff say that this 56-pound fellow, who arrived at the shelter as a stray, loves to play with sticks, catch tennis balls, and go for long walks. Shadoozy has an affectionate and sweet demeanor and, as he relates easier with female dogs than males, any potential canine siblings should be brought to the shelter to meet him first. Staffers also say that Shadoozy may be too much for most kitties in a home and would likely be best matched with families who have kids eight years and older due to his energy level. Additionally, Shadoozy is known to be able to scale a six-foot-tall fence, so potential accommodations may need consideration to keep him safely contained, Greenhill staff said. Shadoozy is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines prior to adoption.
Shadoozy was Tuesday’s Pet of the Week on KEZI 9 News. Every Tuesday, KEZI showcases a homeless pet during the 6 p.m. broadcast. If you are interested in Shadoozy or the other animals at Greenhill Humane Society, more information is available here…
