EUGENE, Ore. – Egan Warming Centers in Eugene and Springfield activated on Monday night and are prepared to open again as needed. The centers are keeping a close eye on the weather conditions throughout the week.
The community has shown strong support with numerous blanket donations after previous supplies were delayed in transit.
“A huge influx. I was at the Mohawk site last night. We had multiple people stop off with carloads of blankets and stuff and it was amazing. And we’ll always continue to take those things because we always need that support, but it couldn’t have gone any better.
