Eugene’s homeless youth benefit from successful ‘Giving Tree’

EUGENE, Ore. – Nearly 300 homeless or struggling youth in and around Eugene requested items. Most of them asked for essentials like socks, coats, jeans, and cookware.

Cameron Jackson, marketing manager at Oregon Contemporary Theatre, shared how the program benefits the community.

“Just knowing that we have the tree in the lobby and we know it’s directly going to support youth in our area is a great value for our patreon and is a great value for us,” Jackson said. “It’s something kind, it’s something immediate, it’s something easy to grab and move forward and know that your doing something good.”…
