About 180 people turned out in downtown Eugene today to protest ICE, following a federal immigration agent’s fatal shooting of a woman in Minnesota: “Enough people, I hope, will see that and realize that enough is enough,” said one protester. After much debate over the past few weeks, the LCC board agreed to move ahead with a goal to cut $8 million from the school’s budget over the next three years. No specifics are public yet about what areas will be cut. That will be work for the spring. Mike McInally reports…
