EUGENE, Ore. (KATU) — The Oregon Department of Justice says that 50-year-old Michael Putman was sentenced to 15 years in prison for sexually abusing an 86-year-old victim at a memory care facility in Eugene.
Officials say Putman carried out the abuse over several months while he was employed as the victim’s evening caregiver at Churchill Estates.
“The victim was particularly vulnerable due to advanced age and cognitive impairment,” the department said in a press release…
