Linn County man arrested following multiagency operation

SWEET HOME, Ore. – A 38-year-old Linn County man has been arrested on multiple charges following a multiagency operation, according to the Sweet Home Police Department.

Police officials said that 38-year-old Jason Scott was arrested Tuesday evening on warrant charges that included possession of methamphetamine, reckless driving, assault in the fourth degree, and criminal mischief in the first degree. The Linn County Sheriff’s Office also arrested him on a new charge of unlawful use of a weapon.

This arrest was successful due to the cooperation of community members with Sweet Home police officers.
