Lane County seeks survey input to combat battery fire hazards

LANE COUNTY, Ore. – Waste Wise Lane County is urging residents to participate in a survey aimed at preventing battery fires and enhancing recycling practices.

According to Waste Wise Lane County, the survey seeks to address the growing issue of lithium-ion battery fires, which pose significant risks to county employees and infrastructure.
