Eugene Planning Commission chair Jason Lear appears to have settled a $6 million lawsuit which accused him of financially abusing his grandfather, Howard Lear, in the years leading up to Howard’s death.
The lawsuit filed in 2023 accused Jason, a professional property manager, of abusing “his position of trust and confidence” by draining his grandfather’s bank account and transferring multiple properties owned by his grandfather to himself.
