A Cold Weather Advisory remains in effect for Eugene and much of the southern Willamette Valley through noon today as cold temperatures and frosty conditions persist across the region.
Many areas began the morning with widespread frost and temperatures in the mid-20s. Even with light winds, wind chills early today have dipped into the 15 to 25 degree range, which can be dangerous with prolonged exposure. Anyone spending extended time outdoors this morning should dress in layers and limit time outside when possible.
Sunshine will help temperatures rebound later today, with highs climbing into the mid-40s. Winds remain light, allowing conditions to feel noticeably more comfortable by this afternoon. Cloud cover increases heading into Sunday, but dry weather continues through the weekend…
