The future of two Eugene School District 4J elementary schools is up in the air as budget shortfalls could require co-location.
Family School, a non-traditional elementary school located in the Churchill High area, was on the chopping block when budget cut conversations began. The school primarily serves students who didn’t thrive in a traditional school environment, many experiencing behavioral issues in other schools that parents say improved with Family School’s individualized model.
