EUGENE, Ore. – Demonstrators gathered in downtown Eugene over the weekend, protesting recent ICE actions and a federal agent-involved shooting in Minneapolis. Protesters lined the streets, holding signs and chanting in response to what they see as harmful ICE activity nationwide.
The protests were fueled by recent ICE enforcement actions and a second federal agent-involved shooting in Minneapolis within a month.
