NextStep’s laptop donation supports Greenhill Humane Society’s mission

EUGENE, Ore. – NextStep Recycling has taken a significant step to assist a fellow nonprofit organization. Last week, the executive director of NextStep Recycling personally delivered 10 laptops to the Greenhill Humane Society.

The Greenhill staff plans to use these computers throughout the shelter. The front office will utilize them for aiding in adoptions. The cat and dog staff will document animal care items, including exams and vaccines. Additionally, the laptops will be used to manage volunteers.

“Last fall, Windows 10 support dropped, so they needed new computers,” said Jessica Ahrenholtz, executive director of NextStep Recycling. “You know, we love what Greenhill does in the community. Like a lot of non-profits, they’ve been struggling as well. So it was very, you know, one of those feel good moments to be able to help them help others.”…
