The Pearl Street lot where an art deco-style building once stood to welcome travelers departing from and arriving at Eugene’s Greyhound Station is now an empty lot. The space has been scraped of the a transportation hub that stood for over 80 years.
Constructed in 1939, the Greyhound Station was made up of an office building and a passenger terminal. It had operated out of that space for so long that when the buildings were demolished, a piece of history came to the surface.
