EUGENE, Ore. – The KEZI 9 News community is reflecting on a journey of resilience and gratitude as former anchor Renee McCullough continues her recovery after suffering a stroke.
On Aug. 15, 2024, McCullough did not make it to work, marking the beginning of an arduous path to healing. The past year and a half have been marked by surgeries and various therapies. McCullough has faced challenges with courage and has come to value what truly matters.
“I just want to say thank you to everybody, because everybody has been so kind,” McCullough said. “Like my whole life, my whole career here, working here and living here. People have been so amazing. I feel like we’ve made just the best friends, and I just feel lucky. You know.”…
