Marcola cat rescue: 38 saved by Greenhill in Lane County effort

MARCOLA, Ore. – Greenhill Humane Society, in collaboration with Lane County Animal Services, has rescued a total of 38 cats from a home in Marcola following the owner’s death.

According to Greenhill Humane Society, they initially rescued 21 cats on Feb. 6, and returned on Feb. 11 to save an additional 17 cats. These cats are suffering from health issues such as malnourishment and respiratory infections. Greenhill staff are providing necessary care, including antibiotics and flea treatments.
