Oregon – Cold air is settling into the southern Willamette Valley this morning, and wet roads could turn slushy fast as rain mixes with snow by Monday afternoon. Bridges along I-5 and Beltline Highway may become slick if bursts of heavier showers line up with falling temperatures.

According to the National Weather Service in Portland, rain spreads in by late tonight, with precipitation chances climbing to 90 percent Monday. Highs reach only 45 degrees Monday, and rain may mix with snow at times as snow levels fall from around 2,500 feet to near 1,800 feet.
