Oregon’s Willamette Valley is damp and chilly this morning, and mist hangs low over Eugene as steady rain falls. At 43 degrees, it feels raw outside, and wet pavement along I-5 and Beltline Highway reflects gray skies. Colder air is poised to move in, setting the stage for rain to mix with snow.
Rain continues through late morning before transitioning to scattered showers. Highs hold near 39 degrees today. According to the National Weather Service in Portland, snow levels drop from around 1,900 feet to near 1,200 feet as the day progresses.
