Eugene shooting leaves one hospitalized with life-threatening injuries; EPD seeking tips

EUGENE, Ore. — A late-night shooting in Eugene left one person hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, prompting a response from the Eugene Police Department’s (EPD) Violent Crimes Unit and Forensic Evidence Unit.

At 9:46 p.m. on February 17, callers reported shots fired in the Marche Chase Drive and Kinsrow Avenue area, along with people running and vehicles fleeing.

While EPD officers were still responding, a person was reported to be injured in a parking lot at 330 S. Garden Way…
