On Feb. 17, the food trucks outside 255 Madison saw a note taped to their windows.
“Due to compliance and licensing issues, we are requiring you to remove your food cart from the property at 255 Madison indefinitely by March 5, 2026.”
The owners of Makedas, Jing Jings, Willamette Artisan Pizza, and Grateful Gringos were confused. And, they started to realize, they had less than a month to find a new place to park.
A familiar story
