Lane Fire Authority pauses staff vacation approvals, warns of layoffs if levy doesn’t pass

EUGENE, Ore. — Lane Fire Authority is pausing employee vacations due to funding concerns as it asks voters to approve an increased operations levy on the May ballot.

That levy failed to be approved by voters in November.
