Drivers in Eugene are paying noticeably more at the pump this week, as average gasoline prices jumped 23.6 cents per gallon over the past seven days.
GasBuddy’s survey of 78 stations in Eugene found the average price rose to $3.74 a gallon Monday. That is 67.8 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and 9.9 cents higher than a year ago.
Prices varied widely across the city, according to GasBuddy price reports. The cheapest station in Eugene was priced at $2.69 a gallon Feb. 22, while the most expensive was $4.29 a gallon, a difference of $1.60 a gallon.
