There are certain restaurants that become part of a town’s identity. Not just places you grab dinner, but places woven into memories. Since 1978, Track Town Pizza has been one of those places in Eugene.
Now, that same old school, community rooted pizza joint has officially opened a brand new location in Thurston.
For decades, locals have packed into the Franklin Boulevard spot near the University of Oregon. Athletes, Ducks fans, families, and hungry college students have all gathered under walls lined with photos of track legends and hometown heroes. The smell of fresh dough baking, tomato sauce simmering, and cheese bubbling in the oven has been part of Eugene’s soundtrack for nearly fifty years.
And now, Thurston has its own slice of that history.
