A Junction City High School student was investigated on Feb. 19 after reports of a student on campus with a gun.
Officers worked closely with school staff to determine the student was not on campus, according to Junction City Police Chief Mark Waddell.
Officers, including the high school’s resource officer, made contact with the student off campus. An investigation revealed the student had made verbal threats of harm and they were arrested and referred to Lane County Youth Services, Waddell said…
