Springfield Public Schools acting superintendent begins first day of four-month stint

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — Springfield Public Schools’ new acting superintendent, Jodi O’Mara, started her first day in the role Monday morning, with former superintendent Todd Hamilton set to be paid the equivalent of a year of his gross salary and drop his legal claim against the school board.

O’Mara will be SPS’s acting superintendent for the next four months.
