SALEM, OR — Concerns over Lane County’s ability to provide a rapid trauma response took the spotlight Thursday in Salem as Eugene Emergency Physicians spoke before the Senate Committee on Veterans, Emergency Management, Federal and World Affairs.
Two representatives for EEP’s 41-provider team spoke about upcoming changes at PeaceHealth’s Lane County emergency departments, after PeaceHealth opted to replace EEP employees with staff from Georgia-based ApolloMD in its emergency rooms.
