EUGENE, Ore. — ApolloMD has responded to a letter from Oregon lawmakers requesting information regarding Senate Bill 951 compliance in relation to upcoming changes at PeaceHealth’s Lane County emergency departments, after PeaceHealth opted to replace Eugene Emergency Physicians (EEP) employees with staff from Georgia-based ApolloMD in its emergency rooms.
According to ApolloMD’s letter, ApolloMD, in its capacity as a management services organization, will support the establishment of a physician-owned practice entity, “Lane Emergency Physicians, LLC (‘Lane’),” and to provide non-clinical administrative services to Lane pursuant to an administrative services agreement.
