ApolloMD told Oregon lawmakers its new entity, Lane Emergency Physicians, will be owned and operated by a doctor from Illinois.
In a letter responding to requests for information about how ApolloMD, the corporation awarded a contract to staff PeaceHealth emergency rooms in Eugene, Cottage Grove and Florence, would be structured, Chief Executive Officer Yogin Patel said ApolloMD would provide administrative and operational support, but clinical decisions would rest with its newly established LLC, Lane Emergency Physicians.
Patel wrote in the letter addressed to Reps. Ben Bowman, D-Tigard, Lisa Fragala, D-Eugene and Nancy Nathanson, D-Eugene, on March 6, Dr. Johne Philip Chapman “will be the sole owner and member of Lane (Emergency Physicians).”…
