SWEET HOME, Ore. – Sweet Home police are on the hunt for a wanted felon following an intense vehicle pursuit on March 12, according to the Sweet Home Police Department.
Sweet Home police officials said that officers attempted to stop 39-year-old Ryan Sechrest after spotting him commit traffic violations on Main Street. Sechrest, however, evaded the police and fled to his residence on 10th Avenue. Authorities report that Sechrest has multiple felony and misdemeanor warrants. His driving status is also revoked at a misdemeanor level. Officers, along with Linn County Sheriff’s deputies, set up a perimeter and searched his property but did not find Sechrest.
