For some, caffeine cravings run bone deep. We wake up craving coffee, and don’t stop thinking about it until the first sip touches our lips. The coffee addicts among us are in luck, because a new coffee stand opened in Springfield that’s doling out caffeine all day long.
South Valley Coffee opened in the location that Off-Kilter Koffee used to be in at 770 A St. in Springfield. The stand has a new owner, Corrine Blankenship, who worked at the stand for six years before she buying it and making it her own.
“This is the place I was trained to make coffee, learned all my techniques, I learned everything from here,” Blankenship said. “And I used to sit on my break and think about how cool it would be to buy this place one day.”…
