PORTLAND, Ore. — Oregon Paralympian Anna Soens competed in women’s slalom sitting early Saturday morning at the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics.
She earned 8th place, with a time of 1:51.48 in the Women’s Slalom Sitting. There were 16 athletes — two of them did not finish — competing in the race that was held at 1:45 a.m. at the Tofane Alpine Skiing Centre Cortina d’Ampezzo.
Soens is competing at the Winter Games with Oregon Paralympian Ravi Drugan. They both qualified for multiple alpine ski events at the Paralympics: alpine combined sitting, giant slalom sitting, Super-G sitting and slalom sitting for the 2026 Olympic Winter Games…
