ELMIRA, Ore. – Parents of students at Elmira High School are expressing outrage over allegations that a teacher used artificial intelligence to create inappropriate images and videos of students.
A parent claimed that James Monegan was caught watching the videos during class. Another parent mentioned it took more than two weeks for the school to respond after the initial student report. After multiple complaints, the district placed Monegan on leave last week. Attempts to contact Monegan were unsuccessful, and the superintendent declined to comment.
