3 new restaurants open in Eugene, plus an old favorite reopens

New, new, new! Those are the words on every Eugene foodie’s lips this March. Three new restaurants are coming to town, and one old favorite is reopening in West Eugene. Food from around the world is on the menu, with tacos and burritos, hot pot, and dim sum in the lineup of new restaurants.

Taco Time reopened its West 11th Avenue location, bringing it signature crispy burritos back to west Eugnene. There are two new Chinese restaurants to try: Eugene Hot Pot Express, which will be located downtown, and Steam & Soul on Coburg Road. Steam & Soul is already open and offering a variety of buns, dumplings and appetizers that will please even the pickiest diner. And Romulo’s has opened in the same Coburg Road complex, with tortas, burritos and tacos galore on its extensive menu.

Taco Time reopens in West Eugene

Facebook, Instagram and Reddit posts lamenting the remodel of Taco Time on West 11th Avenue can finally come to an end. The fast food restaurant has finally reopened its West Eugene location and is ready to bring joy to the city through its highly addictive crispy burritos.

“The crispy burritos are famous. I don’t think you can get something like that anywhere else,” morning shift manager Jodie McDavid said. “And they’re fried fresh to order.”…
