A Cottage Grove man was taken to the hospital after an ATV crash on Sunday.
A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 12:00 p.m. deputies responded to the wreck near the Third Beach parking lot at Samon Harbor. A 20-year-old was lying in the sand, surrounded by his riding group. Deputies learned that the man was doing a wheelie when his ATV hit a small razorback which launched him and his bike, tumbling about 75 feet through the air. He complained of shoulder pain…
