After five weeks of voting, The Register-Guard’s pizza poll has come to a close. And readers might be surprised who took home the title of “Best Pizza in Lane County.”
Newcomer Anne’s Pizza, a joint just west of campus that serves New York-style thin-crust slices and Chicago style deep dish pies, took top honors. The spot has been open in Eugene just five months, serving afternoon and late-night slices. Anne’s focus on quality and flavor has won over the hearts of students and Lane County residents alike, and earned the pizza shop the No. 1 spot in our poll.
