EUGENE, Ore. — Average gasoline prices in Eugene jumped sharply over the past week, rising 26.7 cents per gallon to $4.71, according to a GasBuddy survey released Monday.
The increase leaves prices in the city 89.4 cents higher than a month ago and $1.11 higher than the same time last year.
Across the country, gas prices are also climbing. The national average rose 24.3 cents over the past week to $3.92 per gallon, nearly a dollar higher than a month ago and up 84.1 cents from a year ago, based on GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports…
