EUGENE, Ore. – A Eugene man faces multiple charges after police say he had a stolen gun and stalked someone he used to know, according to the Eugene Police Department.
EPD officials said they were investigating a stalking case involving 33-year-old Dustin Brady Overton. Officers learned Overton, who has a felony conviction, might be at a house in the 3000 block of Barger Drive. Police say he stole a firearm and is not allowed to have one. According to Eugene Police, Overton stalked a person he was formerly acquainted with and threw a rock at the victim’s house. The rock broke a window.
Around 11:30 p.m. on March 29, an officer went to the home on Barger Drive and Overton came to the front door. The officer and Overton briefly struggled but the officer caught him. During the encounter, Overton tossed a sling-type bag inside the house…
