As a rain spell tapers off in the southern Willamette Valley, it will be replaced by a night of freezing cold which will quickly turn into three warm days, according to the National Weather Service.
NWS issued a Freeze Watch for potential subfreezing temperatures from Cottage Grove to Albany for 9 p.m. April 2 to 10 a.m. April 3. Eugene is forecast to hit a low of 33 degrees the night of April 2.
The temperature will then rapidly rise, climbing to a 62 degree high on Friday, April 3. Eugene will see high temperatures in the upper 60s and mid 70s into the start of next week…
