EUGENE, Ore. – Employers added 178,000 jobs across the United States in March, nearly tripling the expected forecast after a loss of 133,000 jobs in February, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Experts say the growth in March can be partially attributed to the end of several large employee strikes, which brought an estimated 30,000 employees back into the workforce.
