FALL CREEK, Ore. – A Fall Creek man was arrested more than three weeks after a motorcycle rider was seriously hurt in a hit-and-run crash, according to the Lane County Sheriff’s Office.
LCSO officials said that, just before midnight on April 5, sheriff’s deputies responded with fire personnel to a hit-and-run crash on Jasper Lowell Road at Pengra Road. A motorcycle rider had been struck by a car, which fled the scene. The rider was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries. Deputies identified the make and model of the suspect car from debris left on scene. They began searching for a possible match.
On April 26, deputies found a matching car at a home in the 39000 block of Jasper Lowell Road in Fall Creek. The car was partially hidden under a tarp.
