EUGENE, Ore. – Bags of Love is asking for donations as the nonprofit prepares for summer.
The organization provides care packages and essentials for children facing crisis, abuse, neglect, poverty or moving into foster care. According to Bags of Love, they’ve made a plea on Facebook for donations and essentials. The nonprofit needs summer pajamas, underwear, shoes and sneakers. They also need quilts that comfort kids in times of turmoil.
“Kids come in all shapes and sizes so we carry preemie through adult 5XL. Summer pajamas can be long pants with a short sleeve shirt or shorts and a t-shirt,” Thomas said. “We are very low on that and we need all sizes.”…
