HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces a road closure for a state road in Warrick County.
INDOT says beginning on or around June 8, crews will close S.R. 62 near Degonia Springs. This closure will occur between State Road 161 and Maurer Road. This road closure will allow for a box structure replacement project. This closure is expected to last through the end of July, depending on the weather.
Road closure planned for state road in Spencer County
Officials say the official detour for this project is State Road 161 to State Road 66 to State Road 61. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
