Driver waits for help inside dump truck after crashing into power lines

MT. VERNON, Ind. (WEVV) — Fire officials responded to a truck hitting a power line on Wednesday morning in Posey County.

The Black Township Fire & Rescue stated they responded at 11:53 a.m. on June 3, to dump truck which hit some power lines on State Road 69 and the William Keck Bypass.

Authorities said the driver was still inside the truck when they arrived, not knowing if the power lines were still energized…
