HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – Attorney General Todd Rokita announced his office played a key role in a major nationwide effort against doctors, nurses and other licensed medical professionals for alleged participation in healthcare fraud schemes.
Two of those suspects are from the Tri-State.
Rokita’s office says Pecola Simpson, 50, of Evansville, was charged with Obtaining a Controlled Substance by Fraud or Deceit and Failure to Make, Keep or Furnish Records in connection with a drug diversion of over 30 units of hydrocodone, hydromorphone, oxycodone and lorazepam…
