(WXIN/WTTV) — A Colorado-based chicken sandwich chain is targeting the Midwest for what they’re calling a “rapid expansion,” including several potential new restaurants in central Indiana.
Birdcall, founded in 2017 in Denver, announced this week that it intends to add nearly 100 new locations throughout Indiana, Ohio, Missouri and Wisconsin. Described as a fast-casual brand specializing in chicken sandwiches, Birdcall is plotting at least 10 new spots in the Hoosier State.
A news release from the company says they see “development opportunities” in “key markets” that include:
- 6-8 restaurants in the Indianapolis area
- 1-2 restaurants in Bloomington
- 1-2 restaurants in Evansville
- 2-3 restaurants in Fort Wayne
Other Midwest cities with proposed restaurants include St. Louis, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Kansas City and Omaha…
