National Night Out Returns to Evansville With a New Location

One of Evansville‘s biggest community events celebrating the partnership between residents and local law enforcement is returning this summer, and it’s happening at a brand-new location.

The Evansville Police Department, Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office, and several local community organizations will host National Night Out 2026 on Tuesday, August 4, inviting families to enjoy an evening of free food, demonstrations, activities, and opportunities to meet the people who help keep our community safe.

This year’s event will take place in the Civic Center Courtyard, located on Locust Street between Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Southeast 9th Street.
