EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Very humid air has settled over the Tri-State on Sunday, with dewpoints ranging in the upper 70s. The high humidity will set the stage for severe storms Sunday evening and hazardous heat for Monday and Tuesday.
Storms will most likely develop north of the area and sweep through the Tri-State with a damaging wind threat later Sunday. A heat advisory for heat index values of 105-110 is in effect for the entire Tri-State for Monday and Tuesday.
